Frequent questions
How long does a panel upgrade take?
The installation itself is usually completed in a scheduled work day, but permits and PG&E scheduling add time. We give you a realistic timeline at the estimate.
Will my power be off?
Yes, power is off during the changeover. We schedule it with you in advance.
Do you handle permits and PG&E?
Yes. We pull the permit, coordinate inspection and work with PG&E on disconnect/reconnect.
Do I need 200A for an EV charger?
Not always. A load calculation tells us whether your existing service is enough.
We pull permits & coordinate with PG&E
A panel or service upgrade needs a city electrical permit and, when the service is changed, coordination with PG&E for disconnect and reconnect. We handle the permit, schedule the city inspection and coordinate with PG&E for you. PG&E sets its own schedule, so we keep you updated instead of promising dates we don't control.
