Frequent questions
Is knob-and-tube wiring dangerous?
It wasn't designed for modern electrical loads, has no ground wire, and its insulation can deteriorate with age. An inspection tells you its actual condition.
Can I stay in my home during rewiring?
Often yes. We plan the work in phases to keep disruption manageable.
Will you have to open my walls?
We use existing access where possible and make small openings when needed. We'll explain any patching before work starts.
Can you rewire just part of the house?
Yes. Partial rewiring, such as a kitchen, a floor or specific circuits, is common.
